It is a notebook to write letters in the waves. In the first half and the second half of the note, the design is slightly changed to express the passage of time. Made with writing paper from Life for a smooth feel.
The motif on the back cover is related to the lighthouse such as weathercock and seagull.
The door is an index page with a nautical chart as a motif. (Common for day and night)
For the cover paper, a textured paper was use to evoke the outer wall of the lighthouse.
A slim notebook that is smaller than the A5 and easy to carry.
Kyupodo products are letterpress printed in Kyoto, Japan. Kyupodo is well known for producing "a little mysterious" paper miscellaneous goods informed by story and imagination. Out-of-use letterpress printing machines and typefaces are signature.
