But the label must have been put on before the wash.. how is it that your name is still there? Because of the very special paper that's been used - wood-pulp based, writeable, waterproof and tear-resistant. These little memo pads are made out of that paper. Drop them in the snow, take them surfing, throw them in the washing machine - they'll be fine and your notes will still be there (best not to use a water-based pen). 100% made in Japan.
