Product Description
Diarylide Yellow works beautifully in a variety of applications, however its granular nature lends itself well to interesting effects in landscape, botanical, and floral paintings. Reminiscent of ripe pumpkins, Diarylide is more muted and transparent than India Yellow.
Artist Notes: Our Diarylide Yellow is very granular in nature, and can create a variety of interesting textural effects when used on cold pressed papers.
Paint Maker’s Notes: Diarylide Yellow was just one of a wave of synthetic organic pigments that were developed during the 1960s.
