An artist living in France, Isabelle Boinot is the author of a long-running series of articles in the Japanese magazine "& Premium" entitled "Various Illustrations of Paris," in which she illustrates the wonderful and delicious things to do in Paris. She also reported on the handicrafts of French artisans on the popular NHK TV program "Parisienne's Country Life". She has published numerous books on various topics in both Japan and France.
In 2006, inspired by crafters using their industrial tapes, the company developed and launched an entirely new and original category of tape: mt brand washi tape, colorful tape which is easy to tear by hand and reposition on nearly any surface. mt washi masking tape is now sold throughout the world in hundreds of colors and patterns and has become a part of daily life, adding a little color everywhere. 100% made in Japan.
