2017 is the 125th anniversary of the invention of Schmincke's Horadam Watercolors. In celebration of this milestone, Schmincke is introducing 35 new colors - available in 1/2 pans and 15ml tubes at Wet Paint.
Schmincke Horadam watercolor is an excellent professional paint from Germany. It features a vast palette with good color intensity and smooth, consistent working properties. Schmincke is the only company whose pan colors are formulated from the same recipe as their tube color. The pans are slowly filled rather than pressed, imparting a moistness that allows the color to be picked up quickly.
