Hanaduri is a Seoul-based multi-disciplinary design studio founded by charming and talented twin sisters. They specialize in crafting handmade products that are reinterpreted in their own unique styles with motifs of nature, culture and everyday life. Each hanji notebook features a highly-appealing minimalist, yet colorful aesthetic.
Hanji is a traditional Korean paper, dating back to the 3rd century. It's made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree and fibers from the hibiscus plant in a labor-intensive hand-process that yields an extremely durable paper. Hanji has a pleasing visual and tactile surface that provides a smooth and satisfying writing experience. The heavy paper cover of this minimalist notebook is screen printed by hand, and each notebook is presented in a lovely printed sleeve.
